Bokaro: A 24-year-old tribal woman was kidnapped and gang-raped for two days under Balidih police station. The victim, a mother of two, managed to escape on the evening of August 17 and reached home in a distressed state. She narrated the incident to her family, who immediately informed the police.
The woman is currently receiving treatment at Sadar Hospital. According to reports, she was abducted by four youths while returning home on August 15. The accused took her to an unknown location in car where she was confined and assaulted. The Balidih police are investigating the matter based on victim’s statement and complaint, but an FIR is yet to be filed. The medical examination report is also yet to come, said a police officer.
