DPS Bokaro Hosts Mega Career Fair: Top Universities unveil future opportunities for students


Bokaro: A career fair was organised at DPS Bokaro on Thursday to provide students with information about various higher education and career options. In this event, organised as a Higher Education and Career Guidance Day, representatives from renowned universities across the country participated. Representatives from Bengaluru, Pune, Chhattisgarh, Chandigarh, Raipur, Maharashtra, and other places provided detailed information about the courses available in their institutions and the associated opportunities.

The programme commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony by the principal of DPS Bokaro, Dr. A.S. Gangwar along with prominent university representatives including Kamal Goyal, Dr. Rishikesh B. Kulkarni, and J. Vishal .Riddhima Kaushal, Head Girl ,delivered the welcome speech, while students welcomed the guests with a melodious welcome song.

In this educational fair, organized in collaboration with the organization ‘I Educationalize’, students were provided with up-to-date information about various career opportunities after Class 12, including medical, engineering, and civil services, as well as management, journalism and mass communication, law, designing, information technology, AI, and multimedia, all under one roof. They were informed about various aspects of skill development and made aware of its importance in today’s era. Students participated in the programme with full enthusiasm and took advantage of it. On the spot applications were also made available by the respective universities. In this sequence, the university representatives answered to the queries of the students.

Principal, Dr. Gangwar said that such events provide children with an opportunity to learn about various aspects of careers. Through this, they are able to give their future a right direction. It is necessary for children to be updated in every field of career in the current educational scenario. With this objective, this awareness programme was organized by DPS Bokaro. The programme was conducted by the school’s Cultural Secretary Riddhima Kaushal, and the vote of thanks was given by Head Boy Kanhaiya Bharadwaj.
