Vibrant Garba and Dandiya celebrations at Guru Gobind Singh College, Bokaro


Bokaro: On the auspicious fifth day of Navaratri, students of Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society Technical Campus (GGSESTC), Chas, organised a vibrant Garba and Dandiya folk dance event. Nationally acclaimed poetess, ghazal singer, and President of Kavya Spandan, Bokaro, Reena Yadav, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Kundan Upadhyay, State President of J.S.T.S.V. Inter Prices Association, was also present as a special guest.

Enthusiastic Participation by Students and Faculty 
The event began with a warm welcome for the guests, where Yadav was presented with flowers and a gift. The program was coordinated by Sushma Kumari, Assistant Professor, ECE, who also delivered the vote of thanks. Among the student coordinators were Aashi from Civil Engineering, 1st year, and Anshu.

The Garba performance, symbolising Indian culture and unity, brought together students and faculty members. Students from B.Ed., B.Tech., BBA, BCA, MBA, and Diploma Engineering showcased their talent with enthusiasm, creating a lively atmosphere. Faculty members, including Dr. Priyadarshi Jaruhar, Professor Kritika Chaudhary, and V.K. Singh, donned traditional attire to contribute to the celebration.

Leadership Acknowledges Students’ Efforts 
The Chairman of the college, Tarsem Singh, and the Secretary, S.P. Singh, extended their heartfelt congratulations to the students for organising such a successful and culturally rich event.
