Idea Pitching Competition Held in Bokaro: Promoting Innovation & Entrepreneurship in Technical Institutes


Bokaro: A two-day idea pitching competition was organised at Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society’s Technical Campus, Kandra, Chas, Bokaro, under the aegis of Vikasit Jharkhand Technical University Ranchi. The event aimed to foster entrepreneurship, innovation, and self-reliance within Jharkhand’s technical institutes.

Selected Teams and Grants
The competition saw participation from six teams, with three teams being selected for further consideration. The teams include Shivangi Jha with the “Play and Study App,” Siddhi and Shambhavi with “Medical Agriculture,” and Shlok Kumar Goyal with “Medical Assistance to Rural People.” The final selected team will receive a grant of up to one lakh rupees, depending on the project’s quality.

Key Organizers and Acknowledgments
Prof. Dayashankar Diwakar, Coordinator of the Institute Innovation Cell, and Prof. Rashmi Thakur, OSD (HR), were instrumental in ensuring the program’s success. The stage was managed by Palak Kumari, a Computer Science Engineering student. Institute President Tarsem Singh and Secretary Surendra Pal Singh congratulated the participants for their efforts.
