Bokaro: Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro hosted a one-day in-house training program for teachers, focusing on the “Chinmaya Vision Program: Reframing Value Education. Principal Suraj Sharma welcomed resource persons and encouraged enthusiastic participation.
The workshop emphasised the importance of incorporating moral and character-building values into education. Sharma highlighted that the current education system overly prioritises marks and career aspirations, neglecting moral development. He stressed that a value-based approach is crucial for shaping disciplined individuals and a productive society.
Teachers engaged in activities from the Chinmaya Mission’s book Life and Aradhana, exploring methods to integrate moral values like Udyam and Apurvaata into lesson plans. Organised by HR In-charge Supriya Chaudhary, the program concluded with the school song, leaving participants inspired and motivated to implement these teachings effectively.
