Cherished memories come alive at Sree Ayyappa Public School’s first-ever ‘SANGAMAM’


Bokaro: Sree Ayyappa Public School, Bokaro, organised its first-ever alumni meet, SANGAMAM – Cherishing Bonds, on Saturday. The event was a delightful blend of nostalgia and celebration, bringing together students from various batches to reconnect and strengthen their bond with the school.

Warm Welcome and Cultural Performances

The alumni were greeted with a traditional tilak ceremony and rose buds, symbolizing the respect and affection shared between the students and their alma mater. A prayer, Guru Vandana, and a melodious welcome song set the celebratory tone. Principal P. Shailaja Jayakumar, in her heartfelt speech, described the event as a celebration of the school’s journey and urged alumni to stay connected and contribute actively to the school’s dynamic curriculum and social projects.

Talent Showcases and Heartfelt Memories 

The event featured a classical dance, an orchestra of nostalgic melodies, and soulful alumni performances, creating a lively atmosphere. Alumni shared fond memories, expressing gratitude to the late K. Venugopal and the school’s management for shaping their lives. Notable alumni, including Anil (IAS), Dr. Shruti Krishnan, and Jitendra (Railways), joined virtually, sharing their greetings.

Honoring Legacy and Strengthening Bonds

The faculty, including Vice-Principal Suresh Nair, meticulously organized the event. Alumni teachers like Ashish Kr. Jha and Priya Pandey also played a key role. Mementos were presented to alumni as tokens of love and respect, cementing the legacy of Sree Ayyappa Public School as a vibrant and enduring community.
