Bokaro Students’ Educational Trip to Gangtok: A Unique blend of learning and adventure


Bokaro: Pentecostal Assembly School (PAS) organised an enriching educational trip to Gangtok for students from classes VI to VIII. The 28 participants embarked on a journey filled with cultural exploration, educational experiences, and thrilling adventures. From exploring Gangtok’s vibrant culture and visiting historical sites to braving sub-zero temperatures at Nathula Pass and experiencing snow for the first time, this trip was a memorable learning experience for all involved. Exploring Gangtok’s Culture 
On January 13, 2025, students began their journey with a stroll along MG Marg, experiencing the vibrant culture of Gangtok. The group then visited West Point Mall for a fun-filled exploration before enjoying a delicious meal at 101, Ramada Hotel. Day 2: Nature and Culture Combined 
The second day of the trip was packed with excitement. Students experienced a thrilling ride on the Gangtok Ropeway, offering panoramic views of the Himalayas. They visited the Do Drul Chorten Monastery, gaining a calming, spiritual experience. The day ended with an enriching visit to the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, where students deepened their understanding of Tibetan heritage.

Snow Adventures at Nathula Pass 
One of the most thrilling moments of the trip was the visit to Nathula Pass. Braving sub-zero temperatures, students witnessed snow for the first time and enjoyed the magical views of Kanchenjunga.
