Bokaro : Bokaro General Hospital (BGH) is all set to organise four-day Annual Conference of Association of Physicians of India (APICON) from March, 3. This will also be the venue of countrywide live-webcast of Echocardiography Workshop to be held on 4th, March.
“The workshop will have interactive sessions on all latest updates on research and developments in the field of medicine. About 2,500 physicians and post-graduate medical students from across the country and abroad are likely to be benefitted from this program,” said Dr Satish Kumar, convener of the workshop. Dr Kumar is also the President of CSI Jharkhand Chapter.
Apart from Dr. Satish Kumar (BGH), Dr. A. K. Singh, Director (In-Charge, M&HS, BSL), Dr. B. B. Karunamay (BGH), Dr. Arun Sarkar (Ranchi), Dr. P. G. Sarcar (RIMS), Dr. Nilashish Dey and Mr. Dinesh Yadav, Cardio-Lab Technician (BGH) would be actively participating at this interactive national level scientific program.
It is noteworthy that this is the first occasion that a national level Echo Workshop has been organised in the state of Jharkhand. The conference will have various scientific sessions held on emerging GERD- Current trends and practices, New insights into Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Capsule Endoscopy, Liver transplantation- Current scenario in India, Keto diet- Pros and Cons, Approach to low back pain in elderly, AKI in ICU, Nosocomial infections, interventions in Pulmonology, updates in Malaria treatment, Spirometry for Physicians, etc.
