Bokaro: Adding yet another achievement to its record, the B.Tech final-year students of Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society’s Technical Campus (GGSESTC), Bokaro, secured a prize in the Project-cum-Poster Presentation held at IIT-ISM Dhanbad. The event witnessed participation from premier institutions, including IIT-ISM Dhanbad and BIT Mesra. The Chief Guest for the program was the DRM of Dhanbad Railway Division.
The winning team, comprising Anchal and Nikhil Kumar Modi, presented an impressive poster titled “Effect of Corner Modification on Wind Load.” Their project drew appreciation from experts and judges for its technical depth and clarity.
Special acknowledgment was extended to Professor Ashish Singh, Assistant Professor, Civil Engineering, GGSESTC Bokaro, an alumnus of IIT-BHU, who guided the students throughout the project. He was further assisted by Professor Suman Kumari, Assistant Professor, Computer Science & Engineering, an alumna of NIT Delhi.

GGSESTC Director Priyadarshi Jaruhar congratulated the winning students and informed the media about their innovative contribution and the institution’s consistent performance in national-level technical competitions. President of GGES, Tarsem Singh, along with Secretary Surendra Pal Singh, also congratulated the students and the Civil Engineering Department for bringing laurels to the institute.
