On Sadbhavna Diwas, BSL employees took oaths
The 77th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister of India, late Rajiv Gandhi was commemorated at Ispat Bhavan of Bokaro Steel Plant on Friday. The Director incharge of BSL, Amarendu Prakash, read out the ‘Sadbhavana Day Pledge’, which was repeated by the officers and employees present at the event. Also present were Executive Director (Projects) R Kushwaha, Executive Director (Material Management) VK Pandey, and Executive Director (Operations) Atanu Bhowmik. Employees pledged to work to achieve emotional oneness and harmony among all Indians regardless of caste, religion, region, ethnicity, or language.
Inauguration of refractory store at RMP department of BSL
The Refractory Store in RMP Department of BSL was inaugurated by ED, Atanu Bhowmik on Friday. This store was constructed with internal resources of RMP in collaboration with CED, Operation Garage, ECD, Fire Services and other departments. It was renovated by tempering the kiln area of the brick plant. In this store, bricks used in the repair of Kiln’s refractory can be stored so that it can be kept safe from dust, rain and dust particles. Tree plantation was also done by Bhowmik during the function.
MLA meets director incharge to demand improvements to BGH’s medical facilities
Legislature of Chandankyari Amar Bauri met director incharge of BSL, Amarendu Prakash at his office on Friday. The D/Ic was requested to improve the deteroriating medical facilities at BGH, which is the biggest hospital in the district. His constituents also rely on it. Prakash listened patiently to the problems and suggestions made by the MLA and promised to take all steps necessary to improve the system in BGH. Bauri stated the director had told him that the results of improvement in BGH would be visible within a few months.
