Bokaro: St. Xavier’s School hosted a captivating event that encompassed both a science exhibition and an art and craft showcase. The distinguished guest of honor for this memorable occasion was Priyadarshi Alok, the Superintendent of Police in Bokaro.
The event commenced with an enthralling performance by the school band, welcoming the esteemed chief guest. This was followed by a heartwarming welcome song and a mesmerizing dance performance by the talented young students of the primary section.
In his speech, Alok extended his heartfelt congratulations to the parents of the participants and imparted valuable advice about instilling essential values in children to help them achieve their life goals. He emphasised the significance of effective time management, drawing from his own experiences.
Students from every section of the school participated in the science exhibition, presenting a diverse array of models. In total, 102 stalls were set up, showcasing the students’ ingenuity and creativity.
The young children of the primary section presented and explained their art and craft projects with remarkable skill and confidence. Subsequently, Mr. Father Arun, the headmaster of the school, extended his best wishes to the students, and the chief guest officially inaugurated the competition with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The closing ceremony welcomed Kundan Kumar, CGM (T.A.), as the chief guest. The event featured a welcome song, as well as spirited dances by the plus-two and high school students. This marked the delightful conclusion of the ceremony. In his speech, Kumar commended the students and wished them all the best.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Atmja, the Vice President of the Science Club, and Father Arun Minj S.J., the school’s Principal, played a pivotal role in the event’s success. The inspiring event ended with the national anthem, leaving everyone in awe of the remarkable talent on display.
