Bokaro: Bhilai Steel Plant team beat Tata Steel Plant by 2-1 in the final of Inter Steel Badminton Championship organised at Sports Complex, Sector-4. The tournament was organised under the aegis of Steel Plant Sports Board and hosted by Sports and Civic Amenities Department of BSL.
At the closing ceremony of the championship, Executive Director (Personnel and Administration) Sanjay Kumar congratulated the team of Bhilai Steel Plant and gave them the shield. On this occasion, General Manager (Municipal Services) AK Avinash, General Manager (Liaison and Administration) NA Saifi and players of the teams participating in the championship were present.
It is notable that a total of 9 teams from Bokaro Steel Plant, Bhilai Steel Plant, RSP, Durgapur Steel Plant, Alloy Steel Plant, IISCO Steel Plant, Salem Steel Plant, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited and Tata Steel participated in the championship.
