Bokaro: Students showcased commendable prowess in martial arts by successfully clearing the Karate Belt Grading Test. The young karatekas were awarded Yellow, Blue, Green, Purple and Orange belts as per their proficiency levels. Each of them also received an official Belt Grading Certificate issued by The Tenshinkan Shotokan Ryu Karate Federation of India. Notably, this Federation operates under the aegis of the globally recognized Tenshinkan Karate Federation of Japan and is approved by the Karate Association of India (KAI). The grading was conducted as part of the ongoing, rigorous training programme organized in collaboration with the Khel Karate Association of Jharkhand. DPS Bokaro continues to impart structured karate training to its students, emphasizing discipline, fitness and self-defense.
In Primary Wing, the students who earned the recognition are Aakriti Mishra who received a Yellow Belt, while Riyanshi Chaudhary and Maayon Sharav received an Orange Belt each. Aarush Singh, Aashwi Aadya, Aarush Prakash, Abhinandan Gupta, Achintya Singh, Aarnav Sharma and Anika Das were each awarded a Green Belt. Additionally, Yuvan Yash, Riddhima Chaudhary, N. Saravana Sadru, Adhiraj Jha, Atharva Kashyap and Sanvi earned two Blue Belts each, while Bhavya Bisht, Reyansh Prakash and Siddhi Suman received one Blue Belt each. Similarly, Sara Hayat was awarded two Purple Belts.
Similarly, in the Senior Wing, Bhavya Swaroop and Tiyasa Chatterjee each earned an Orange belt, while Vihaan Kumar and Aaryav Sharma each earned a Green belt, Anjali Sinha, Anshika Gupta, Arnav Jha and Shivani Kumari earned two Blue belts each, Rishita Raj Sharma earned two Purple belts, while Saiyati Sakhi earned one Purple belt.
The Principal, DPS Bokaro and Chairman of the Association, Dr. A.S. Gangwar, along with the General Secretary of the Association and lead instructor, Mr. Khedu Gorai, distributed the certificates and belts to the successful candidates.
