This educational initiative, organised by the NNS wing of the college, aimed to raise awareness about the dangers associated with tobacco consumption. Before the distribution, college director Dr. Priyadarshi Jaruhar enlightened the audience about historical decrees issued by Sikh Guru Gobind Singh and several emperors to prohibit tobacco in their realms. 
Dr. Jaruhar shed light on the health hazards linked to tobacco use. Towards the conclusion of the event, students and attendees pledged against tobacco consumption. The proceedings were overseen by Prof. Simran Bhimjiani, while the coordination was handled by Dr. A.P. Baranwal and N.S.S. Coordinator Prof. Sushma Kumari.
Institute President Tarsem Singh and Secretary Surendra Pal Singh commended everyone involved in this initiative, emphasising its positive impact.
