Bokaro’s MGM School rated among India’s top 5 star schools for its green initiatives


The M.G.M Higher Secondary School of Bokaro was selected as one of the Top 5 Star Rated Schools in India for Green Initiatives. The award was presented to the school’s principal, FR Reji C Varhese.

The Star Rated Schools Award Ceremony and Annual Conference 2022 was organised recently by Centre for Educational Development Foundation (CED) at Le Meridien Hotel New Delhi. The program was eventful with the discovery of new ideas, discussions and felicitations for schools of excellence.

Schools from across India and the Gulf participated in the conference. The nominated schools are rated as 3 stars, 5 stars and 7 stars, taking into account their performance during a survey led by the foundation’s Quality Assurance Unit. The schools have been selected by jury members from CED Foundation, based on various parameters and their competency to benchmarks.

The conference witnessed the esteemed presence of guests and speakers from the education community. The leaders had come together to share their views and opinions on how to make education instrumental for a long fulfilling life. Dr Abdullah Rashid Ahmad, Minister of State for Education, Republic of Maldives, was the Chief Guest apart from high rank officials from CBSE, NCERT and others.
