BSL’s Stores Department made a record in emptying rail wagons


Bokaro: Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) store department broke a record by emptying 40 rail wagons in just 42 hours. In the past, this work has been completed in an average of 66 hours. In these wagons, Ferro Manganese and Silico Manganese minerals were transported from SAIL’s Chandrapur plant in Maharashtra, which are used to make steel.

BSL Stores Department established a new benchmark by completing this difficult task in record time. The team coordinates resources and time together for this purpose. The officers, workers, and contract workers of the store department contributed greatly to this project’s success.

On this achievement, Executive Director (Materials Management) Amitabh Srivastava went to the stores and congratulated the team. He encouraged them to continue to improve in the coming times as well.

On this occasion, Chief General Manager (Materials Management) Harsh Nigam along with other officers and employees of the Stores Department were present. The cooperation of the traffic department in completing this work was commendable.
