Calling Bokaro’s Creative Minds: Win Cash Prizes in Thrilling Reel and Film Contest !


Bokaro: A gathering of local filmmakers, directors, and social media influencers convened on Wednesday at the Collectorate Auditorium under the leadership of Senior Nodal Officer of Sweep Cell and Additional Municipal Commissioner, Saurav Kumar Bhuvaniya.

Other officials including District Deputy Election Officer Dhirendra Kumar, District Public Relations Officer Saket Kumar Pandey, CSR Nodal Officer Shakti Kumar, Sweep Nodal Officer cum Assistant Public Relations Officer Avinash Kumar Singh, and DMFT Cell’s Shubhankar were present in the meeting.

Bhuvaniya, in his capacity as Senior Nodal Officer cum Additional Municipal Commissioner of SVEEP Cell, extended invitations to all attendees to craft reels, short films, and other creative content aimed at encouraging district residents to participate in the Jharkhand Voter Awareness Contest. He proposed the idea of organising similar competitions at the district level.

SVEEP Nodal Officer cum Assistant Public Relations Officer Avinash Kumar Singh highlighted the workshop’s objective, emphasizing the need to prepare various artists in Bokaro, including painters, musicians, lyricists, and social media influencers, for the Jharkhand Voter Awareness Contest. He outlined the competition’s categories and rules to ensure participants were well-informed.

Attendees were urged to seize the opportunity to utilise their artistic talents to promote democracy and vie for awards. The Jharkhand Voter Awareness Contest, organised by the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Ranchi, encompasses four categories: short films, music videos, reel-making, and poster-making, with detailed guidelines available on the Chief Electoral Officer’s website.

The submission deadline for the competition is March 31, 2024. A jury will select winning entries based on creativity and impact, with social media engagement factored into the decision-making process.

Social media influencers received guidance on the competition’s theme, tags, and hashtags, and all attendees participated in the “I am Ready to Vote” selfie stand, reaffirming their commitment to voting.
