CBSE capacity building workshop kicks off at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro


Bokaro: In an endeavor to enhance educational excellence, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) organised a two-day Capacity Building Workshop in collaboration with Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro, as part of its ongoing Capacity Building Program. The workshop commenced today with a grand inauguration ceremony graced by esteemed dignitaries.

Under the gentle illumination of the ceremonial lamp, the workshop’s inauguration witnessed the presence of key figures, including Mahesh Tripathi, Secretary of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Principal Suraj Sharma, Principal Sharda Mahajan, and Vice Principal Anindita Roy. The melodious tones of a welcome song, expertly performed by the school’s music department, warmly greeted all attendees.

Facilitator Sharda Mahajan commenced the proceedings by introducing the participants and providing a concise overview of the workshop’s theme. Mahajan emphasised the importance of simplifying the educational process, despite the presence of knowledgeable individuals, and highlighted CBSE’s 50-hour training program as a pivotal step in this direction.

The workshop’s focal point on school affiliation became evident as attendees delved into the discussion. It was stressed that all CBSE-affiliated schools must adhere to CBSE norms, and comprehensive guidance on this aspect was provided by the workshop.

Sharda Mahajan and Anindita Roy underscored the significance of the new education policy, elucidating its various components, including adherence to NCERT guidelines, the CBSE training portal, training regulations, and online programs like Diksha, Swayam, and Nishtha.

The workshop delved into essential elements of the school ecosystem, including student activities, science exhibitions, sports events, annual festivals, and the creation of sample question papers aligned with CBSE standards. Additionally, the workshop thoroughly covered topics related to all-round student development and CBSE Skill Education.

The experienced facilitators expertly fielded questions from over 60 principals and teachers hailing from Jharkhand and Bihar, leaving no curiosity unanswered. This workshop stands as a testament to CBSE’s commitment to fostering a simplified, effective, and uniform education system.
