Bokaro: A bridge on Mantiko Nala located in Govindpur project of Central Coalfield Limited (CCL) in Kathara collapsed due to heavy rain. A CCL worker Daleshwar Mahto, who was passing through the bridge, has been injured as he fell 50 feet down with his motorbike.
The CCL employees in the project rushed to the spot and rescued Mahto from the debris of the bridge and admitted him to hospital. The incident is said to have happened around 10 o’clock in the night. After getting the information, many union leaders including GM Harsad Dutta, PO DK Gupta, Mines Manager Murari Prasad reached the spot and inquired about the matter.
The condition of the injured CCL worker Daleshwar Mahato is said to be critical. Treatment is going on at CCL Hospital in Kathara.
