Pentecostal Assembly School: Independence Day celebrations in special assembly


Bokaro: The Pentecostal Assembly School organised a special assembly to celebrate Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav on Friday. The students and teachers paid tribute to the sacrifices of the freedom fighters.

“Indian culture is unique in the world. We all feel proud to be a part of its rich culture and heritage,” said a teacher. On the occassion a solo dance competition was organised. A speech by Akshit Kumar followed by Patriotic group song ‘ Tu Zinda hai Tu Zindagi k Jeet… ‘ was presented by the choir of Std 3 to 5 students.

The choir expressed their sense of pride and self-confidence for their country through the song. A class 5 student Shaurya Vihan mesmerised everyone reciting a Hindi patriotic poem.

“The Innocent expression of the kids of Std. Prep to 2 in the action song, “Aao bachcho tumhe dikhaye.. ” has stolen everyone’s heart. Presentation of Fancy dress – Freedom fighters and state parade, recitation of “Jhasi Ki Rani” by these future citizens left everyone spellbound,” said Principal, Dr. Karuna  Prasad.

The program encouraged the students to keep up the value of hard-earned freedom.
