Bokaro: The Pentecostal Assembly School hosted Heritage Quiz Competition on Tuesday, aligning with the G20 and Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative. The event targeted students from grades VI to X, aiming to instill a sense of responsibility for safeguarding the nation’s extensive cultural legacy among the upcoming generations.
Divided into two segments, the quiz commenced with a preliminary round conducted via Google Form a week ahead of the final showdown. The standout performers from each section progressed to the ultimate round, held within the school auditorium.
The competition was structured around a series of diverse rounds, including the Visual Round, Clue-Based Round, Audio Round, Map-Based Round, and Rapid Fire Round. The participants exhibiting the highest scores clinched the coveted titles.
Dr. Karuna Prasad, the Principal, conveyed her congratulations to the victors and extended motivation to all students and contenders. She commended the collective effort of the teams and encouraged a deeper engagement with heritage topics.
Prasad underlined the participants’ role as torchbearers of the nation’s legacy and stressed the significance of assimilating knowledge for its preservation. She emphasised that the Heritage Quiz transcended mere question-answering, symbolizing the dedication of students towards cherishing and upholding the country’s cultural tapestry.
