Chinmaya Alumni’s Midnight Mission: Bringing warmth and hope to Bokaro’s needy


Bokaro: In a touching gesture of compassion, former students of Chinmay Vidyalaya Bokaro ventured out in the middle of the night to distribute blankets to those in need, braving the cold. The enthusiastic group, distributed blankets to over 100 individuals. They covered various areas in the city, including Chas, Sector 4, and the Railway Station.

Expressing gratitude and admiration for the social responsibility demonstrated by their former students, Chinmaya Vidyalaya secretary Mahesh Tripathi commended the alumni for their dedicated efforts. They expressed immense joy in witnessing the alumni fulfill their responsibilities with a strong sense of duty.

Fulfilling Gurudev’s Vision

These former students, as part of their ongoing commitment, actively engage in various community services, such as blood donation drives, eye treatment camps, service in old age ashrams, and food donations to organisations supporting the disabled. In doing so, they embody the cherished ideals of the revered Gurudev Swami Chinmayanand Saraswati.

Chinmaya Alumni Association President Ranjeet, along with Dr. Ambrish Soni, Kumar Shilpi, Praveen Kumar, Shaibal Gupta, Shashikant, Abhishek Mishra, and Suman Saur, led the initiative, showcasing the enduring spirit of camaraderie among Chinmaya alumni.

“Their selfless act not only provided warmth to those in need but also served as a shining example of the positive impact that individuals, united by shared values and a commitment to social welfare, can achieve in their community,” said Mahesh Tripathi, secretary.
