Bokaro: Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro’s Alumni Association is gearing up for a noble cause as they announce a Blood Donation Camp scheduled for February 11, 2024. The event aims to emphasise the critical importance of donating blood, likening it to offering someone a chance at life.

“With the alarming statistic that 60% of deaths in our country occur due to a lack of timely blood transfusions, the Alumni Association emphasises the urgency of their initiative. In a heartfelt plea, they urge the community to join hands in this humanitarian effort,” said Mahesh Tripathi, secretary, Chinmaya Vidyalaya.
Despite rallying calls to parents and teachers for their support, response levels have not met expectations compared to previous years. Recognising the significance of individual contributions, the association encourages staff members to personally engage with potential donors, aiming for a minimum of five commitments.
The staff members who demonstrate exceptional dedication in motivating donors will be honored for their efforts. The event not only underscores the importance of blood donation but also reflects the spirit of unity and service ingrained in the Chinmaya family. As the clock ticks closer to the event, anticipation grows for a successful and impactful day of giving back to society.
