The vibrant atmosphere of talent and enthusiasm permeated the auditorium of Sree Ayyappa Public School during the recently organised District Level National Youth Mahotsav. This grand event was a collaborative effort under the joint auspices of the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, Jharkhand Ranchi, and the District Administration Bokaro.
The formal inauguration ceremony was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including the District Sports Officer Kumari Hemlata Boon and General Secretary of the District Olympic Association, Gopal Thakur Bokaro.
Diverse Participation in Competitions
Participants from various schools, colleges, and institutions within the age group of 15 to 29 years engaged in a wide range of health and fitness-based competitions. These included folk dance, folk singing, story writing, poster making, declamation, photography, youth work, and handicrafts, showcasing the diverse talents of the youth.
Adjudication by Distinguished Judges
A panel of distinguished judges, including Umesh Kumar Mahato, Uttam Kumar Prajapati, Mr. Chauhan Mahato, Ritesh Kumar, and Sanjay Kumar, took on the responsibility of evaluating the performances and creations of the participants, adding a competitive edge to the Mahotsava.
Outstanding Achievements
The results of the Mahotsava highlighted outstanding achievements in various categories. Notable winners included U.S.S. High School, Berekela, securing the first position in group folk dance, and Manisha Kumari Khalko claiming the first position in the slow song category. The event also recognized talents in story writing, poster making, speech, slow dance, and photography.
Honouring the Victors
Winners and runners-up were duly honored with trophies, medals, and certificates in recognition of their exceptional performances. This acknowledgment served as a motivation for the participants to continue pursuing excellence in their respective fields.
Path to State Level
All participants who secured the first position at the district level earned the opportunity to advance to the state level, showcasing the potential for further growth and recognition.
