Bokaro: The launch of the #IamVerifiedVoter social media campaign on Monday, organised by the Cabinet (Election) Department, ignited immense enthusiasm among the district’s electorate.

“Responding to the call of District Election Officer (DEO) cum Deputy Commissioner (DC) Jadhav Vidaya Narayan Rao, voters flocked to polling centers across the district since the early hours. Engaged citizens meticulously scrutinised the latest voter list, ensuring their inclusion, and proudly captured selfies with the list, promptly sharing them on social media platforms,” said Prabhas Dutta, an administrative official.
Those requiring amendments or additions promptly filled out pertinent forms on-site, submitting them to Booth Level Officers (BLOs). Simultaneously, many voters opted for online verification through the Voter Helpline App or the Voters Service Portal (https//voters.eci.gov.in), capturing moments of validation with selfies shared under the ubiquitous #IamVerifiedVoter tag.
Complying with directives from the DEO cum DC, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) were deployed in ample numbers across all polling stations, armed with Form 06, Form 07, and Form 08. Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) cum Block Development Officers (BDOs)/Circle Officers (COs) meticulously supervised polling stations, providing essential guidance to BLOs and ensuring seamless electoral operations.
