Bokaro: Dr. Karuna Prasad, the Principal of Pentecostal Assembly School, was honored with the esteemed “International Best Principal 2023” award. The award ceremony took place at the Dr. Ambedkar International Center in Delhi on Sunday, May 28, 2023. The Academic Council of SOF bestowed this prestigious accolade upon Dr. Prasad in recognition of his vast experience, exceptional leadership, and unwavering dedication to the field of education.
During the ceremony, the distinguished presence of Honorable Justice Mr. Deepak Mishra, former Chief Justice of India, added to the grandeur of the occasion. Reverend Dr. DN Prasad, the Director, Mrs. Rita Prasad, the Academic Officer, and Daniel Michael Prasad, the Administrative Officer, extended their heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Karuna Prasad, commending his continuous efforts and encouraging him to persist in his endeavors.
Esteemed dignitaries such as Honorable Justice Rekha Palli of the Delhi High Court, Mr. Mahavir Singh, Founder Director of SOF, and Mr. Manish Gupta, President of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, graced the event with their presence and felicitated Dr. Prasad with a cash prize and a trophy.
Notably, during the academic year, over 70,000 schools from more than 1,400 cities spanning across 70 countries participated in seven Olympiads conducted by SOF, with a record number of students appearing for the world’s largest Olympiad exam.
It is worth mentioning that under the guidance of Dr. Karuna Prasad, students from Pentecostal Assembly School achieved an outstanding feat by securing 558 gold medals in various Olympiads, including international and zonal competitions.

Apart from his role as a principal, Dr. Karuna Prasad himself is a gold medalist, with a special interest in literature and art. He holds prestigious degrees, including an M.Phil and Ph.D., from Jawaharlal Nehru University. This achievement further propels the school towards progress and success.
