Bokaro: The Pentecostal Assembly School, in collaboration with the CBSE training program, organised an enlightening Capacity Building Programme focused on Learning Outcomes and Pedagogies. The event drew a cohort of 60 teachers from the school, each eager to enhance their teaching methodologies. The program featured distinguished resource persons: Namita Agarwal, the Principal of Jamshedpur Public School, boasting 25 years of teaching experience, a background in Political Science (PGT & B.Ed.), and a role as a CBSE Mentor for four schools in the region.
Additionally, she served as the City Coordinator for the evaluation of Evidence of Assessment (EA) for 22 schools in Jharkhand. Joining her was Dev Madhu, PGT in Computer Science at DAV Public School, Hazaribagh.
The resource persons deftly delved into the distinction between Learning Outcomes and Learning Objectives, providing a comprehensive understanding of Bloom’s Taxonomy of Education, its objectives, and outcomes.
The session was enriched with activity-based learning experiences, making the workshop engaging and interactive.
The focus extended to diverse approaches for crafting effective lesson plans, encompassing all essential elements. The ultimate aim of the workshop was to augment educators’ skills in preparing well-structured lesson plans.
