Bokaro: A grand Kavi Sammelan was organised at the Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society’s Technical Campus, Engineering and Management College, Bokaro. The event featured notable poets from the Kavya-Spandan Group, including Reena Yadav from Bokaro, Saroj Jha Jharkhandi from Ramgarh, Nitesh Mishra from Ranchi, and Anant Mahendra from Dhanbad, who captivated the audience with their poetry recitals.
The chief guest of the event was Pawan Yadav, DGM of Bokaro Steel Limited (BSL). The event commenced with the lighting of lamps, Saraswati Vandana, and a floral tribute. The Secretary of the institute, Surendra Pal Singh, graced the event as the special guest. The dignitaries were honored with bouquets, mementos, and shawls.
In addition to the invited poets, students Sneha Ratan and Palak also showcased their original poetry, adding a youthful flair to the evening. As a gesture of appreciation for his literary contributions, the Kavya-Spandan Group presented a plaque to Dr. Priyadarshi Jaruhar, the college director.
The stage was managed smoothly by students Sneha Ratan and Palak. Contributions from Dr. A.P. Barnwal, Prof. Kritika Chaudhary, Prof. Sumit Pandey, Prof. Apurba Sinha, Anand Jaiswal, and Pooja Hazra added to the event’s success. The institute’s president, Tarsem Singh, congratulated all participants and expressed his best wishes for future endeavors.
