Bokaro: Executives of Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) can now book their air tickets through M/s Balmer Lawrie & Co.Ltd., both for official tours and personal air travel. Approval from the competent authority is required for official tours. It will be valid up to 14.07.2023.
According to BSL sources, employees can contact M/s Balmer Lawrie & Co.Ltd to book domestic and international air tickets, along with other related services (visa assistance, travel insurance, hotel accommodations, car rentals for international trips, foreign exchange, etc).
As per their entitlement for air travel, executives can book air tickets on official tours using the user-friendly Standard Self Booking Tool (SSBT) with URL http://ssbt.balmerlawrietravelapp.com. To allow tickets to be booked for official purposes, the executive directors will be the approving authority in SSBT. 
SSBT (Corporate booking) does not require approval for CGM and above. In addition, all executives are entitled to use SSBT for direct booking with their dependents on self-payment and use corporate facilities (free meal, choice of seat, free/minimal cancellation as per Agreement and Airlines policy).
Bookings must be made according to SAIL/Bokaro Steel Plant policies only. If any user books a personal ticket through the official booking system, then that user is responsible for the booking.
