Bokaro: Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society’s Technical Campus (GGSESTC), Engineering and Management College, Bokaro, has been awarded a Certificate of Participation in the Innovation category under the prestigious India Rankings 2023 by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) today.
The esteemed institution, which is the sole self-sustaining engineering college affiliated with Jharkhand University of Technology, has earned this recognition through its consistent efforts in the fields of technology and innovation.
According to College Director Dr. Priyadarshi Jaruhar, the institution is committed to fostering innovation and technological advancements. To support this mission, GGSESTC conducts annual conferences and organises science and innovation exhibitions, allowing students and faculty to showcase their work and explore new ideas.
Dr. Jaruhar highlighted the significant contributions of Prof. Dayashankar Diwakar and Prof. Bhaskara Nand, who serve as the coordinators for the college’s Innovation and Incubation Cell. Their dedication to promoting research and innovation has played a crucial role in the college’s success.
The director also emphasised the college professors’ active involvement in research, as evidenced by their numerous published research papers. Many faculty members have registered patents under their names, further demonstrating the institution’s commitment to innovation.
In addition to the faculty’s achievements, GGSESTC students have developed applications and participated in hackathons, showcasing their technical prowess and creative problem-solving skills.
