Bokaro: The boys’ hostel of Guru Gobind Singh Educational Society’s Technical Campus, Engineering and Management College, Bokaro, recently buzzed with excitement as the Hostel Premier League (HPL) came to a thrilling end. The event featured competitive matches across various sports including cricket, volleyball, carrom, chess, and badminton. 
The results of the 2024 edition of HPL are as follows: In cricket, the 3rd Year emerged as winners, with the 4th Year securing the runner-up position. Kunal Singh was awarded the Man of the Match, while Rishabh Raj claimed the title of Wicket-Taker.
The 3rd Year also clinched victory in volleyball, with the 2nd Year as the runners-up. Shashank and Mayank emerged as winners in badminton, while Shubham triumphed in chess and Aashirwad and Nitish dominated carrom. Vinay was recognized as the Emerging Player of the Year.
College Director Dr. Priyadarshi Jaruhar awarded prizes to the victorious players, with Prof. Sumit Kumar overseeing the event’s coordination. Hostel Superintendent Shri Anand Jaiswal’s contributions were acknowledged, and Institute President Mr. Tarsem Singh and Secretary Mr. Surendra Pal Singh congratulated the students on their achievements.
