Insightful talks and activities mark Constitution Day at GGSESTC Bokaro


Bokaro: Constitution Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Engineering and Management Institute GGSESTC, located in Kandra, Chas, Bokaro. The program commenced with the lighting of lamps, followed by floral tributes to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Director-in-charge Dr. Prof. RP Verma addressed the gathering, emphasising the essence of India’s Constitution, referred to as the “soul of India.”

Insightful Talks on Constitutional Values

Prof. Dr. Vaibhav Gupta elaborated on the significant role played by Dr. Ambedkar in drafting the Indian Constitution. He highlighted the importance of promoting constitutional values, social justice, and democratic principles that form the foundation of the nation.

Active Participation of Students and Faculty

The program saw active involvement from students and faculty members. Ragini, a BBA 2nd semester student, conducted the event, while Pal, a B.Tech 1st semester student, presented the preamble of the Constitution. Prof. Rashmi Thakur organised engaging activities like speech competitions and quizzes for students. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Kritika Chaudhary.

Messages of Equality and Justice

Institute Director Dr. Prof. Priyadarshi Jaruhar congratulated everyone, reminding them of their constitutional rights and responsibilities. President Tarsem Singh and Secretary Surendra Pal Singh inspired the audience with messages of equality, freedom, and justice, emphasising the guiding principles of the Indian Constitution.
