Bokaro: The 48th Annual Knowledge Science Fair concluded at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Bokaro, featuring various projects centered around the theme “Rich India, Safe World.” Over 400 students showcased their creative capabilities based on scientific thinking about nature and technology across 25 stalls. Students informed visitors about the achievements of 21st-century India through engaging projects.
Chief Guests Welcomed
The chief guests of the exhibition, Kundan Kumar, Chief General Manager of Bokaro Steel Plant, and Aarti Kumari, were warmly welcomed by the school’s students with tilak and sweets. Following this, the Principal, Suraj Sharma, honored them with a bouquet. Other distinguished guests included Param Pujya Swamini United Saraswati, Bishwarup Mukhopadhyay (President), RN Malik (Treasurer), and Vice-Principal Narmendra Kumar. All the guests lit lamps to inaugurate the event.
Importance of the Science Fair
Principal Suraj Sharma expressed his joy at welcoming everyone to the significant event. He noted that the students of Chinmaya Vidyalaya consistently strive to develop scientific thinking. Thus, the annual knowledge science fair is organized to allow students to present the logic and creativity of science.
Kundan Kumar’s Inspirational Speech
In his inaugural speech, Chief Guest Kundan Kumar stated, “India is developing. A rich India is essential for the happiness and peace of the entire world.” He emphasized the need for technological advancements to establish India as a global superpower, urging students to take an interest in science and contribute to future technological discoveries.
Diversity at the Exhibition
This year, a special stall titled “Literature and Nature” was set up, showcasing how prominent writers have perceived nature. Additionally, 20 stalls presented attractive models on various subjects, including Indian transportation, agriculture, defense, governance, and the role of science in a self-sufficient India.
Direction for the Future
The exhibition provided detailed information about various aspects of a growing 21st-century India, including culture, economic policies, scientific and military achievements. This fair not only allowed students to share their knowledge but also strengthened the spirit of national pride and service.
