Bokaro: DPS Bokaro’s Principal, A S Gangwar received the prestigious “Global Principals’ Award-2020” for the significant contribution he made in the field of education.
Principals from across the globe who have improved school education in their countries are recognized with Global Principal’s Awards. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this year’s Global Principal Award ceremony was conducted virtually. Gangwar received this award for his successful leadership and perseverance in bringing about a positive change in DPS Bokaro.
The jury selected 100 principals working in both private and public institutions from thousands of nominations from 110 countries around the world. The award was given in recognition of a principal’s ability to maintain educational standards, show dedication to the profession, develop the school, provide social services, implement basic facilities, and demonstrate creative abilities, among others.
It’s worth mentioning that Gangwar had won several awards like the Best International Principal Award, Progressive Principals’ Award, Sandipani Vishishth Gurujan Samman, Vidyapati Shikshak Samman etc. for his dedication and commitment towards his profession and for the services in field of education.
After receiving the award, Gangwar said, “I am extremely humbled to have been selected as a stalwart to carry the knowledge flag high and march ahead with glory. My aim will always be to serve society and implement creative ideas to encourage our young, promising talent.”
