Bokaro: Vedanta ESL Steel Limited recently organised two successful Mega Health Camps in Bokaro district under its Project MACE Healthcare initiative. Hosted at the Vedanta Cares Field Hospital in Sector 6, the camp focused on the healthcare of senior citizens and was supported by Medicant Hospital.
Esteemed doctors from various departments such as Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, and Endocrinology provided comprehensive medical consultations, including screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar, and thyroid levels. Chief Guest Digvijay Kumar Singh, IG of CISF, highlighted Vedanta’s invaluable support during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Alkusha Village Health Camp
A second health camp was conducted in Alkusha Village to serve the elderly in Chas sub-division. Collaborating with Akash Hospital, Dr. Puja’s Dental Clinic, and Sanjeev Netralaya, Vedanta ESL Steel aimed to extend its healthcare reach into rural communities. Senior residents benefited from screenings and consultations, addressing critical medical needs like blood sugar and blood pressure checks. The camp saw significant participation and was a success in promoting community health.
