Bokaro: The Women’s Judo Khelo India-2023 event was organised on October 26, at the Namkum Khelgaon Badminton Stadium in Ranchi. The event marked a moment of tremendous elation and pride as the women judo players from GGPS Bokaro showcased stellar performances, claiming numerous medals.
The remarkable achievements of the GGPS Bokaro team are as follows:
– Gold Medalists: Jayshree, Ishika, Anushka, Deepshikha, Rimjhim, Palak, Chitra, Tanu, Avishi, and Anupriya.
– Silver Medalist: Prisha.
– Bronze Medalists: Moushumi, Antara, Jiya, Sunidhi, Akanksha, Alia, and Shalu.
With a stunning total of 10 Gold medals, 1 Silver, and 7 Bronze, the school’s name now gleams in glory. Soumen Chakraborty, the school’s principal, lauded the players, coaches, and teachers, Chinmay Kumar and Punam Singh, attributing their unwavering dedication as the driving force behind the students’ exceptional performances.
