Bokaro: More than 150 students, the majority of them from Delhi Public School (DPS), have cracked the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2022 in the district. As per the information shared by schools till now, Arvind Kumar Sharma, a student of Guru Gobind Singh Public School (GGPS), scored the highest in the district, bagging a 99.97 percentile.
About 65 students from DPS, Bokaro cracked the JEE MAIN examination. Varun Ayush of DPS Bokaro made his Alma Mater proud by fetching 99.3 percentile marks. Of those students who are achievers in DPS, 32 of them scored 95 percentile while 33 got above 90 percentile marks.
Meanwhile, around 50 students passed JEE MAIN in Chinmaya Vidyalaya this year. Shivani Mishra topped the school, scoring 99.876 percentile. She was followed by Mohit with 99.607 and Sudhir Kumar achieved a 99.182 percentile.
A S Gangwar, Principal, DPS Bokaro, said, “I am sure that with continued sincerity, dedication, determination, and focus, you will definitely realise all that you have desired.”
S. S. Mahapatra, Director of Sree Ayyappa Public School, said they have yet to come through the names of 23 students who cracked JEE Main. Around 11 students achieved good percentile including five of them scored above 95 percentile in Pentecostal Assembly School, said Danial Prasad, director.
GGPS School claims that 9 students passed the exam with 90 percentile or higher. Many schools are yet to declare the names. Soumen Chakraborty, Principal, GGPS Bokaro expressed his happiness on this achievement. He congratulated the successful students and quoted that “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
IPEC coaching institute headed by Rishi Jha also claimed to have its 85 students scored good percentile. Students of other coaching institutes and tutors like PACE IIT & MEDICAL, FIITJEE, Akash Institute and others have also done well.
