Bokaro: A contractual worker sustained critical injuries at the Steel Melting Shop (SMS) of Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) on Tuesday. The victim, Shivpati Singh (45), is working under M/s H&S Construction. Singh’s legs were crushed. BSL is a unit of Steel Authourity of India Limited (SAIL).
The victim slipped and suffered leg injuries while working near the stopper of the STC-5 track in the pit side of SMS, according to BSL sources. He was taken to BGH where doctors immediately treated his leg injury. Presently, the patient’s condition is stable, and doctors are monitoring him constantly.
