Bokaro: The Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) on Monday redesigned the positions of officials holding key positions outside the plant in the rank of chief general manager (CGM). Furthermore, executive director, MM, Vishnu Kant Pandey has been given additional responsibility for ED, Personnel and Administration, effective from Tuesday.
To improve efficiency, BSL management has re-designated CGM, Town and Administration, Bhupinder Singh Popli as CGM Incharge. BSL’s CGM, Security, Manoj Parasar will now report to Popli. Pawan Kumar, CGM, Personnel, has also been made CGM Incharge in the same department.
CGM Hari Mohan Jha, who was recently promoted, has been assigned the new title of CGM, Personnel (Non-Work and Mines). General manager of mines, S N Panda, will report to Jha while he will report to Pawan Kumar. From SAIL Refractories Limited, Jha was recently transferred to BSL’s Personnel Department.
