Event at Mahwar Basti: A Day of Giving
On December 13th, the school’s charity drive reached Mahuar Basti, where essential items such as books, clothes, sweets, dry fruits, chocolates, candles, and blankets were distributed to underprivileged families. Principal Mrs. P. Shailaja Jayakumar, along with key staff members including Sumangala, Vijaya Bhasan, and Sajeev S, played a vital role in organising and ensuring the success of this event.
Empowering Children through Charity
During the event, Shailaja Jayakumar emphasized that charity not only enhances human welfare but also instills noble values and promotes innovation in children. Special guests, including Shiv Prasad, Om Prakash, Meena Devi, Dolly Devi, and Sulochana, graced the occasion by lighting lamps, followed by prayers and a motivational speech by J.N. Tiwari. The event was attended by 45-50 students from classes 8-12, including Student Council members, and their parents. Celebration at Ekal Vidyalaya, Kaduagora
On December 17th, the students visited Kaduagora village in Sonabad, Bokaro, where they celebrated the Daan Utsav at Ekal Vidyalaya. The event was marked by a warm welcome from the local community, who performed a traditional folk dance. In collaboration with Ekal Vidyalaya’s Chairman Gautam Jha and other officials, the students distributed clothes, sweets, shoes, books, and reading materials to the children.
