Students from DPS Bokaro shine in Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM)


Bokaro: In a remarkable display of academic excellence, students from DPS Bokaro have achieved outstanding results in the prestigious Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM). Arush Banerjee topped with a score of 30.

Out of the 159 shortlisted candidates from the state of Jharkhand, an impressive 15 students from DPS Bokaro secured their place in the prestigious competition.

The IOQM, which is the first stage of the Mathematical Olympiad program in India, is known for its rigorous testing of mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills. It serves as a stepping stone for students aspiring to represent India in the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO).

The achievement of these students is a testament to their dedication, hard work, and passion for mathematics. They have not only made their school proud but also brought honour to the state of Jharkhand. Their success reflects the exceptional quality of education and guidance provided by DPS Bokaro.

Principal, A S Gangwar expressed his delight at the remarkable performance of the students. He said, “We are immensely proud of our students’ achievements in the IOQM. It is a testament to their academic prowess and the dedication of our teachers.”

The names of the qualifiers are as follows: Arush Banerjee, Kumar Anmol, Ayush Lachhiramka, Soumyadip Mandal, Kunal Kaushik, Anuj, Rayaan Singh, Ayush Raj, Ashlok Anand, Sidhant Vaibhav, Aarush Ranjan, Utkarsh Kumar, Shirish Krejia, Abhineet Sharan, Aditya Raj Chauhan.

As these 15 students move forward in their mathematical journey, we eagerly await their continued success.
