Bokaro: In an incident at Sundaram Steel Pvt. Ltd., located in Bokaro Industrial Area, Jitendra Singh, aged 31, a fitter, lost his life after falling approximately 60-70 feet on Wednesday night. Alongside him, Mohammad Mushtaq, aged 29, a supporting laborer, sustained severe injuries and is fighting for his life in a Ranchi hospital.
The injured laborer hails from Chandrapura, while Jitendra Singh was from Saran, Bihar. The accident occurred during their work on erection-fabrication in the company’s new project, said sources.
Both workers fell from a significant height, resulting in Singh’s immediate demise. Mushtaq’s condition remains critical. Following the incident, all contract laborers at the site were discharged and sent home.
