Bokaro: In a remarkable feat, Pallavi Kumari, a student pursuing engineering in Computer Science at the Guru Gobind Singh Engineering and Management College in Bokaro, has secured the first prize and a cash reward of Rs. 3000/- in the Innovation Challenge 2023. The competition was organised by I.I.T. – I.S.M. Dhanbad, under the aegis of I.I.C.
Kumari’s groundbreaking project, titled “Plastic Road,” garnered widespread acclaim, marking her excellence in the realm of innovation.

Equally noteworthy is the achievement of Priya Kumari, a final-year engineering student in the Computer Science branch. She has been selected for the I.I.T. Google Research Sponsored Mentorship, sponsored by Roorkee, where she will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 15000/-. This prestigious opportunity reflects her commitment to advancing her skills and contributing to cutting-edge research in collaboration with Google.
Dr. Priyadarshi Jaruhar, the Director of the college, extended heartfelt congratulations to both Pallavi Kumari and Priya Kumari. Dr. Jaruhar emphasised the significance of not only meeting academic and placement goals but also excelling in innovation and research endeavors.
