Vineet Joshi appointed as new CBSE Chairman


IAS Vineet Joshi has been appointed as new CBSE chairman. Joshi is presently working as an Additional secretary in  Department of Higher Education and as per the official orders he has been given charge as CBSE’s chairman in addition to his existing assignments. He has replaced IAS Manoj Ahuja.

Vineet Joshi is an IAS officer, Manipur 1992 batch and he is also the governing body member of National Testing Agency. He has a background of working in top education bodies, the board is expected to develop even more under his tenure.

CBSE is one of the most popular educational boards of India. More than  25, 000 schools all across India and approx 240 schools in 28 foriegn countries are affiliated to CBSE.
