Bokaro: At least 200 junior officers of the 2008-10 batch at Bokaro Steel Plant staged a demonstration demanding the rectification of their pay discrepancy. The officers marched from Sector 4 Gandhi Chowk to the administrative building and put their demands before the management.
Junior officers said if the management does not respond positively to their demand, the agitation would intensify. On March 1, they will wear black badges to work. Although management has assured them, but are not paying attention to their request. By switching off the mobile phones provided by the company to rectify the pay discrepancy, SAIL officials had exhibited their protest on February 19.
