Young storytellers shine in puppet show at Pentecostal Assembly School


Bokaro: The Pentecostal Assembly School hosted a remarkable display of creative storytelling by students from Nursery to Class 2, providing them a platform to express their inner storytellers to an appreciative audience. The young participants confidently took to the stage with puppets, captivating everyone present. The competition, held in the school auditorium, was a delightful blend of imagination and expression as the young minds wove inspiring stories with the help of puppets.

The efforts of the Nursery children in reciting stories like “The Thirsty Crow” and “The Fox and The Grapes,” the Prep students with “The Ant and The Grasshopper” and “The Bear and Two Friends,” Class 1 students with “The Ant and The Dove” and “The Trap,” and Class 2 students with “The Parrot and The Brahmins” and “The Brahmins and The Goat” were commendable. Their performances not only showcased their storytelling abilities but also their confidence on stage.

Karuna Prasad, Principal of The Pentecostal Assembly School, expressed her happiness over the success of the event and the outstanding performances by the children. She said, “Storytelling is a skill that promotes reading and expressive abilities in students.” The use of puppets added a unique charm to the competition, empowering children to express their ideas creatively and engagingly.
