Bokaro : Sree Ayyappa Public School celebrated its 38th Foundation Day on June 27, 2026 with great enthusiasm, dignity and a strong commitment to moral values and academic excellence. The school campus turned into a vibrant celebration ground where students, teachers and dignitaries gathered to mark this historic milestone with pride and joy.

Like a strong banyan tree that grows deeper roots and wider branches with time, the institution reflected its journey of growth, discipline and excellence over 38 glorious years.

Traditional Welcome and Sacred Beginning

The celebration began with a traditional welcome of guests through tilak and sapling presentation, symbolizing respect and a green vision for the future. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp was followed by Vedic chants and shlokas, creating an atmosphere filled with positivity and spiritual energy. The ritual beautifully symbolized the removal of darkness and the arrival of knowledge.
Musical Welcome by Students
The event became more vibrant as students presented a melodious welcome song that filled the entire campus with warmth and happiness. Their voices created a joyful atmosphere that set the tone for the cultural celebration.
Cultural Performances Showcase Talent

Students from Classes 3 to 5 delivered a powerful and energetic presentation of Hanuman Chalisa, beautifully choreographed by Arpita Ghosh and Anamika Jha, which deeply impressed the audience. This was followed by a colorful Goan folk dance showcasing rich cultural traditions. A graceful Mohiniyattam performance choreographed by Shilpa S highlighted the elegance of Kerala’s classical art form and won appreciation for its beauty and expression.
Academic Excellence Recognised
A major highlight of the celebration was the award distribution ceremony where students from Classes 1 to 12 were honored for their academic achievements. School toppers, subject toppers and JEE Main and JEE Advanced achievers were recognised for their dedication and excellence. Their success stories inspired other students to aim higher and work harder.
Emotional Moment of Felicitation
An emotional moment was witnessed when Mr Sanjay Kumar was felicitated for completing 25 years of dedicated service. His contribution was described as a guiding light that strengthened the foundation of the institution.
The Achievers Awards for Classes 1 to 5 and Scholar Badges and Certificates for Classes 6 to 12 recognized not only academic excellence but also discipline and determination that shaped student success.

Chairman P Rajagopal described the school as a temple of learning where values are nurtured and dreams are shaped.
