Bokaro: Mount Sion School, in collaboration with the Department of Posts, Government of India, organised a special Rakhi Making Programme aimed at nurturing creativity among students while instilling values of love, brotherhood, respect, gratitude and patriotism.

Students create colourful Rakhis with patriotic spirit
Students participated enthusiastically in the programme and created beautiful, colourful Rakhis. The initiative provided them with an opportunity to express their creativity while reflecting on the significance of Raksha Bandhan and the spirit of national service.
Rakhis sent to family members and soldiers
The handmade Rakhis were sent through the Department of Posts to the students’ family members as well as to brave soldiers serving at the nation’s borders. Through this gesture, the students conveyed their heartfelt love, respect and gratitude to those safeguarding the country.

Top 10 Rakhis selected for outstanding creativity
As part of the programme, the Top 10 outstanding Rakhis created by the students were selected. The initiative encouraged students to combine creativity with a meaningful message of appreciation and patriotism.
