All training centers, JAP headquarters and Police lines in Jharkhand will be renovated: Chief Minister


Bokaro: The Chief Minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren announced on Friday that all training centers, Jharkhand Armed Police (JAP) headquarters, and the police line will undergo renovation within two years.

Furthermore, the government is looking into providing better health facilities for policemen so that they can perform their duties and responsibilities effectively.

Hemant Soren attended the passing out parade held at JAP-4 Ground situated in Sector-12 area of Bokaro. Director General of Police Neeraj Kumar Sinha, IG Training Priya Dubey, and other officers were present at the occasion. The passing out parade consisted of 574 jawans including 188 women jawans. 

Renovation within the next 2 years

Chief Minister said “during various programs I get an opportunity to visit police training centers and institutes. While taking information about the situation there, I learn of many problems prevalent there. It has a direct impact on the trainers and the trainees. In such a situation, I assure you that within the next 2 years, all the training centers, JAP headquarters, and police line centers will be renovated, so that the training program can be conducted in a better environment”.

He said that the increasing participation of women in the police department is an example of women’s empowerment. On the occasion, Chief Minister planted trees in the JAP-4 campus and also inaugurated the RO plant for the campus.

“574 jawans of the session 2020-22 have received a total of 215 days of basic training at the training institute of Bokaro JAP-4. In this SIRB-01 Dumka total, 13 jawans including 4 male and 9 female, SIRB-2 Khunti total 5 male jawans, IRB-8 Godda total 556 jawans including 377 male and 179 female jawans received various training,” said an officer.

Best cadets honored 
Chief Minister honored Best Cadet (Overall) Archana Kumari, Best Cadet (Indoor) Bhimraj Vishwakarma, Best Cadet (Outdoor) Vikram Kumar Tiwari and Best Cadet (Shooting) Manju Kumari with trophies on the occasion. Apart from this, Training-in-charge and Deputy Superintendent of Police Vinod Kumar Mahto were honored.
DGP chopper confuse landing station 
CM’s Helipad

There were two helipads made for the function. One at the Bokaro Police Line for the chief minister and another at the JAP Ground for DGP. However, the helicopter of state DGP Neeraj Sinha landed on CM’s helipad.

 It is said that all the senior police officers were standing at the Police Line to receive DGP when his helicopter landed at another spot. The officials, who were in fix, however, said that DGP was inspecting the CM’s helipad by landing the chopper there and after that, the helicopter landed at Police Line.
