Bauri highlighted the historical significance of January 22, noting that after a hiatus of five hundred and fifty years, Lord Shri Ram has taken his place in the sanctum sanctorum. Advocating for the recognition of this day as a state holiday, Bauri emphasised its importance to the Sanatani community, connecting it to the beliefs of millions of Hindus.

The BJP leader underscored that preparations for celebrating Diwali and organising social and cultural events are underway nationwide. He drew attention to the Pran Pratistha program, set to be conducted by Prime Minister Modi, generating immense enthusiasm in Jharkhand as well.

Recognising the logistical constraints preventing many from attending the Ayodhya event, Bauri suggested that making January 22 a government holiday would allow people, especially government employees, to witness the Pran Pratishtha program through television.
